About Emily

Emily Kuklinski (she/her) is a writer specializing in telling comedic and heartfelt stories, with an emphasis on LGBTQ+ representation. She grew up as a military brat, traveling from coast to coast, but calls Nebraska home.

She received her B.A. in English (with a minor in Theatre) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with concentrations in Gender and Film Studies.

While in Nebraska, Emily worked for years as a freelance stage manager for community and professional theatres alike. She has also appeared on a variety of podcasts, serving as an actor, co-creative, and co-host.

Currently living in Los Angeles, Emily is a rising third-year grad student at Loyola Marymount University. She is enrolled in the Writing and Producing for Television track and is due to graduate in May 2023. Emily has dreams of working in children's animated television or as a narrative video game writer.
